T-Rex CAFE

Despite what the others have said, no. T-Rex is not on the Disney Dining Plan. But you should do it anyway. It is fantastic for kids. The food is okay but the inside of the restaurant is awesome.

Don't forget to set up a reservation for the place though!

Here's a link to the 2012 Dining Plan from the Disney website. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me...alog/WaltDisneyWorld/en_us/PDF/2012Dining.pdf

T-REX is on the dining plan.

Ooooops! I stand corrected. It was never on before and I looked again before I posted earlier and it wasn't there. BUT, I was looking at the Quick Service section and not the Table Service section. That seperate sections is something they have never done with the brochure before. Good catch! My son loves this place so it looks like I can save nearly $85 with this. LOL

Thanks for the update!

I ate there a couple of years ago. The ribs were very good and the atmosphere was fun. The only downside is that it's NOISY!!! Seating capacity is just under 1,000 and there's others walking around looking at the dinos. On top of that, the dinos roar and bellow every few minutes or so plus you have fairly loud music and just when you're adjusted to the commotion, there's a "meteor shower" erupting around the restaurant that brings the noise up a few more notches. Enjoy your meal but bring some Tylenol.

Yep, it most certainly is on the dining plan although there have been plenty of posts about not making reservations through Disney but to phone T-Rex directly instead. It is said you stand a better chance doing it this way.

Whatever way you do it, best of luck. I'll be eating there in five weeks and my son is really looking forward to it.
