Symphony in the Stars??

Hey everyone. I have been looking on the Disney website and I am having trouble finding information about this fireworks show regarding time, good viewing spots, etc. Some websites say it is at 9:30, and others say it is at 9:45. Can anyone confirm this? Also, another problem is that I was planning to see Fantasmic as well, but that does not start until 9:00. I can't imagine that I would still be able to get a good spot for symphony in the stars then if that is the case? It seems kind of strange that Disney would have these two shows run so close to one another. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

HI there! I was there Friday and the fireworks were at 9:45. You can get a great view of them literally anywhere along Hollywood Boulevard, I watched them right by the entrance to the park and there was plenty of room for more people. There is a preshow on the stage however, which you will not really be able to see that far away from the stage, so if you're hoping to watch the show, you'd want a closer spot. I didn't watch Fantasmic that night so I don't know how difficult it would be, but I showed up to my spot at 9:40ish and still had a great view! Hope that helps! (There might also be a 10:30 showing of Fantasmic!)

Thanks for the response! Looks like I will have to think this through. Unfortunately 10:30 Fantasmic is too late as we have to be up early the next day. Maybe we'll try to squeeze in 9:00 Fantasmic, we'll have to see. Good to know that there's no need to get there very early though. Does anyone else have any experience with this situation?

The pre-show starts at 9:45 with the fireworks at 10. Personal favorite viewing spot is Echo lake, in front of Prime Time. Near the exit or outside of the park is also good.

Thanks Jwhee for advice on viewing spots. Does anyone have personal experience however with being able to see both Fantasmic and Synphony in the Stars in the same night, or possibly back to back as would be the case here? That's what I'm trying to figure out
