After being torn for three days I decided to switch from POFQ to CSR. I wanted to be closer to AKL, and more centrally located. This is the first time I am staying at a moderate. Have always stayed @ AKL and wanted to try and cut expenses this trip. Will still be eating some of my meals @ AKL and hanging out @ Victoria Falls. I am going in early Jan. 2014 a slow time and read that POFQ shares busses during non peak times. Also CSR has Maya Grill (TS) plus Rix Lounge. Has anyone eaten their, and what are your thoughts? Have heard bus service is pretty good @ CSR. Suggestions needed for building request please. I would like to be fairly close to a bus stop and the food court. I have never stayed here, and need your help, as I have been told its a large resort. Allot of people say it could be a good deal o walking, but the resort is beautiful and to enjoy it and not let it bother me to much. Master Yoda said he walked from near the back of the resort to near the front entrance in 7 minutes, which is not to bad. Any tips on this resort are most appreciated. Also calling @Master Yoda.

Only stayed at CSR once (Thanksgiving several years back). It was one of the most crowded times of the year and we didn't have any issues! The Rix Lounge is very cool to grab a drink at night. The pool was very cool as well. The kids loved it! I have nothing bad to stay about the resort. Enjoy

We have stayed twice at CSR and we enjoyed both our stays. We stayed in buildings 7A and 8A both buildings are very close to the bus stops. Building 8A is close to the main pool, close to the bus stop and a few minutes walk to the main building, building 7A is a few minutes longer walk to the main building. If you don't want to walk you can ride the bus to the main building.

Is the main building where the Maya Grille and food court is located? Which buildings are considered preferred room buildings?

If you have dinner at the Pepper Market and you can take it outside, take it To Go and eat outside. They charge extra to eat dinner inside.

No other tips. Enjoy your stay!
