Swimming at a value resort on arrival day

We will be arriving at MCO at 8am and then checking in at AoA. We would like to swim for a little while before heading to DTD for lunch and our BBB appointment. I know they don't have towels out by the pools, but is there somewhere we can get towels if our room is not ready. I really don't want to have to bring our own beach towels, as we are packing for a 3 day cruise as well as 6 days at WDW. Thanks!

We have gotten towels from the front desk before (rather than walking back up to our room). I don't see why it should be a problem.

when we were there, there was a large cart with towels in it just inside the building entrance door. I would just go in the front door of any of the buildings near the entrance to the pool, I bet they are still located there. our building had king triton in front (I forget the building number)
