Swan/Dolphin Room Requests

Looking forward to a quick trip over Labor Day. I'll be at the Swan and have a King Resort View room booked. I previously stayed in room 812 (or close) overlooking the Dolphin fountain area. I'd really like a similar room. I know nothing can be guaranteed, but I wondered if anyone had made room requests at either the Swan or Dolphin. The process for the Disney resorts is pretty well documented, and I certainly know there are no guarantees. But, I wasn't sure if anyone had any stories (good or bad) on making requests.

You can call reservations and they can put in the request, does not mean you'll get it but at least they can try to give it to you. Same with when you get to front desk, you can ask for a room overlooking the fountain. Better calling and asking than trying when you are at the front desk. Good luck!
