Just want to say it seems like D23 booklets are mentioning this, at least June is. I booked a Swan Reserve Epcot view king room for about 1.5k, which normally seems to be 1.9k. I had to call in to reserve and must present my D23 membership. Since D23 memberships are now $50, not a bad deal at all.

Price without the discount from late August into Sept.

This seems to be about a 20% discount, my guess it's a better discount for the more expensive rooms.

Don’t forget to account for the resort fees and the parking fees if you are driving in.
Resort fees should be embedded….parking fees are not. When we were there last it was $35.00 a night for self parking
I believe this is the same as the passholder deal.
It is….and the AP rate varies….just like any other Disney Resort booking, if one has flexibility there is enough quirk in the system to find a max or at least highest discount….when we check the Swan & Dolphin we can never predict which one will come out the lowest….sometimes even the Reserve is the cheapest

Should be and are are two different things. They aren’t always and some people don’t know to expect them.
Of course….i was being delicate

Take a closer look at the OP’s Confirmation screenshot….$200.00 is the last fee noted before Total
There is a new law about resort fees - they can’t be hidden anymore.

The passholder price for swan or dolphin is often about the same price as passholder for a moderate. Of course that’s before parking fees so if you’re driving in that adds up.
Yes

They must appear somewhere…. In this case they’re noted on the Confirmation

Sometimes it’s a challenge to find them during the booking process, but it should be a line item one can review BEFORE paying and Confirmation

Numerous times we’ve made it all the way to payment before booking and had the epiphany of “why is the Final price so high?” ….sometimes it’s hard to back track and find it…it’s there, somewhere…hidden

The swan and dolphin lists the prices - with resort fees - up front before the confirmation page.

Pretty much all hotels do that now - after the law.
Cool
We knew in the past the ones to watch out for….some of the Comfort Inns in Kissimmee and those on I-Drive would add and drop the fees depending on the season/demand, thus you had to pay attention….much easier nowadays (after the law)

We STILL thoroughly read rental car agreements at all airports….not sure if they were captured in the law or not

The dolphin was the only hotel on disney property that i stayed at that I regretted. The room for 4 was unbelievably tiny. The bathroom door hit the tub. In order to use the toilet, you had to stand in the tub to close the bathroom door. The room was discounted, but it was still only $30 less per night than renting points to stay at the polynesian.
