I noticed that SW has changed many flight time starting in November- do they normally do this for the winter? Example: MCO to ORF was 9:00pm, but now it is changed to 2:50pm. Do you think the times will go back or would this be a permanent change?

That is a tough question to answer. SW changes flights to suit the traffic.
IE: If the 9:30 am flight is always running with empty seats, on the next schedule release, they will change to a time that will run with a plane that will be more full. If they find that that flight is not filling, they will most probably change it again, but, to what is anyone's guess.
The nice thing is that they rarely, if ever, change a flight time once it is published.
