Trip Report Surprise! We went to Disneyland Paris!

Hi friends! M and I are currently on the train back to Paris from a day trip to Disneyland Paris!
I have never done a TR from my phone but that’s what I’m attempting to do here. I anticipate it will be mostly photos with occasional commentary.
(No I probably will never finish my last WDW trip. I know you all have been holding your breath for over a year. You can breathe again. Sorry)

We took the RER line A to the Disneyland stop (no it’s not called the Disneyland stop but all the train announcements say “Disneyland Park” after the actual station name).
After some slight confusion as to where to enter we found the right entrance for Walt Disney Studios Park and headed straight to the Rémy ride. We weren’t that impressed. I think our ride vehicle was broken and it didn’t move the way it was supposed to.

Ohhh! So excited!
We rode Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin, which is a kind of silly kid ride but it only had a five minute wait. We realized why…it was cold, rainy, and windy today and the ride spins and enhances all three of those
We got on the single rider line for Spider-Man WEB Adventure. We had no idea what it was haha. We were standing in the same place for a long time and a long announcement in French came on the speakers. I speak basic French and have mostly been functioning fine here but it was a lot of very fast words. I did understand “thank you for your patience and understanding” at the end…which can never be good! Luckily then the announcement came on in English and said the ride was temporarily down but would be back soon. WEEELLLLLLLL it came on about four more times and we were considering leaving when the announcement came on that said the ride was closing for the time being. As we exited we saw some guests stopping to get tickets from a CM, which we assumed (correctly) were for returning later. We got a ticket and headed toward the front of the park so we could hop over to Disneyland Park.
Thé entrance and front part of Disneyland were pretty crowded. It was comparable to MK Main Street at busy times. There were also SO MANY STROLLERS EVERYWHERE and quite frankly these guests had worse stroller etiquette than at WDW.
First ride was Star Tours, which was pretty fun in French. The voice actors they hired to dub the ride in French are great
and when they speak slowly enough I can understand it

Lunch time! We checked out reservations and there wasn’t much available. There are soooo many buffets and most of them only have a couple vegetarian things. I am not paying €40 for two things on a buffet. So we ended up mobile ordering from Café Hyperion (sort of analogous to Cosmic Ray’s). We shared the Menu #2 (like a value meal with sandwich, fries, and drink) with Beyond burger, plus a side salad. It was fine. The burger was room-temp at best. The salad may have been the best part of the meal.

So if my count in correct you now have 4 of the 6 resorts (and 10 of the 12 theme parks) under your belt?

The weather didn’t bother us toooo much. (Spoiler) it cleared up later in the day and it was really only bad when the wind was blowing.
Pirate time! There is a Pirate Galleon on Adventure Isle (is anyone else obsessed with Our Flag Means Death on HBO Max??? If you haven’t seen it and you like gays or pirates or comedy [or any combination of these] you NEED to go watch it. I have never been this obsessed with a show. M and I have watched the entire first season ELEVEN TIMES and cannnnnot wait for season two. So anyway we had to take lots of pics of the pirate ship lol) and then we found Pirate of the Caribbean. Navigating this park is not the easiest. Signage is often confusing or non-existant. The app is glitchy and the map on the app isn’t very helpful.
Anyway on Pirates we were crammed into a row with two other adults so I didn’t get many photos (and the ones I did get are terrible so I’m not bothering posting them).

Very excited to see your report and postings on Instagram. I'll be going in June to DLP & Paris so I'm eager to see things to get excited for my trip.

If you’ve read my reports you know M and I love the Teacups in any castle park! There was a five minute wait posted but it was really a walk-on.
As we entered the line we saw the Tweedles. One of them saw me taking a photo and started “chasing” me as I walked through the queue
Loved the ride as always (even if we didn’t spin it as hard as we used to
