Surprise, unplanned visit potential?

Ok, so to keep it short, I am bringing family to Orlando for a non-existent visit. However, I just discovered that I will not be needed at ALL on Friday. So, here's my question:

Can you still just show up and buy a ticket same day? I know there used to be a Reservation requirement (we did that last Spring for a Disney visit), but if the park is not at capacity, wouldn't they let me buy a ticket and go in?

Otherwise, its a day at Disney Springs, just to get my "fix" in.

TIA

You will need a reservation. If the park is not sold out they can make you one when you buy the ticket.

To clarify, the single day ticket to whichever park he chooses will be the reservation since single day tickets are park specific.

@AVeryDifferentDisneyDad tickets can be purchased at each park entrance. The only park that might have a capacity issue is MK, but you can certainly purchase a ticket for another park from the CM to get your “fix.”

I don’t think you’ll have a problem.
