Hello all,
In a few months I'll be going to wdw for two weeks!
And I was wondering if you're allowed to use your own bodyboard on the typhoon lagoon. If not can you rent or borrow one from disney? Or isn't it allowed to bodyboard/surf in the pool?
I hope you guy's have an answer for me so I know If I have to pack my bodyboard!

Not 100% sure if this is still the case but it was: No flotation devices allowed in park (too dangerous or something); special surfing thing (very unsure on details) one or a few mornings a week before park open. (maybe a CM exclusive thins, again unsure)

surfing lessons....

surfing lessons are available...look at the site...or call ahead for information ($200 per person?)...I don't know about boogie boards or body boards...they mention body surfing...but that's not boogie boarding is it.

I'd give them a call...knowing Disney and liability I doubt any boards are allowed inside the park, aside from early surfing lessons.

Give em a call.

It definately appeared to be the case that there was no floatations, etc, rule last year, any way unless it was unusually quiet it would be far too dangerous to even attempt a little bit of boogie boarding.
I have always fancied taking the surfing lessons, but $200 does sound a little steep for me even if the surf is gauranteed !!!

surfing at typhoon lagoon is fun if you've never ridden real waves in your life...

otherwise, it's kinda boring
