Suprise WDW trip ideas?

So we decided to book a trip for the middle of January and we are taking a cousin (7 years old) who just had her first trip to the world this past August with us. She has been asking us a lot when about when her parents can take her but they will not be able to afford that for a good while. So we decided to do a surprise trip for her during her time off from school around MLK.

We are keeping the trip a secret from her till we pick her up from school the day we leave but we are trying to think of creative ideas to let her know she is going to WDW during her 5 day break from school. We looked into the idea of a phone call from a character but it looks like they don't have the "You're Going to WDW!" option anymore. Anyone know if there is any call system out there for this? Any other ideas are welcome also.

Have you come up with any good ideas? We have 9 kids and just bought our tickets for May of '14. We have not told them yet and not sure if we are going to keep it a surprise completely or tell them ahead of time. We are still trying to nail down a good condo to rent before we let the cat of the bag to anyone else. I love the idea of a call. We are making the 1,000 mile drive from Ohio so I'm uncertain how we could keep this a surprise.

The Enchanted Phone Call I've used before doesn't have that option - it's probably the same one you looked at. What a good option to add though! For my nephew who went to Disney a few years ago, I sent him "Mickey Mail". The USPS stores used to have packing envelopes w/Disney characters on them. I imagine they still do. I got one of those, and filled it with little trinkets from the Disney store. Then I included a post card and wrote it from Mickey, saying that he was going to Disney World, and that they'd be meeting at Chef Mickey's! It worked out really well. If you want to bring the package instead of mailing it, and give it to her in the car, just address it to her, and put from Mickey Mouse in the return address part. You can say Mickey sent her an urgent package and you brought it with you. :)

There are all kinds of things you can do to surprise a kiddo. You could do anything from taking her to a Disney Store and let them surprise her, a box full of mouse ear balloons, putting her to bed with normal clothes and having her wake up to have it all swapped out with Disney gear, a scavenger hunt, a video/slideshow revealing the surprise, or you could even hit the road and give her clues along the way to build a puzzle or the answer to where you're headed. In any event...all kinds of things you can do.

We didn't tell our kids until the lift to the airport arrived. At 5am New Years Day! I said to them the night before that you have to get up when it's dark on NYD and get dressed before it's light lol. The TA picked my dad up first and then came to us. I had all the cases packed the night before and hid them in the downstairs toilet.
At 5am the doorbell rang and I told my kids to answer it. My daughter was nearly 6 and was properly reading so in my dad's hand was a sign saying "WE ARE GOING TO DISNEYWORLD". I videoed the whole thing. They were in total shock until we got to the airport.
Then I took my daughter and her friend to Disneyland Paris. They thought we were going to London. On the way down to London to catch the Eurostar I handed them paper mickey ears with them names on and said that London didn't allow mice so we should really go to Disneyland instead.
When we go back to WDW next year we fly on a Tuesday. As the kids are older we are going straight from school. They don't know that. I'll do a surprise for them too, probably going to my dad's straight from school so the TA can pick us up from there, I'll figure it out nearer the time.
But have fun doing the surprise. 7 is a great age for surprises. How about one of those storybooks where you can add a name, and in the end the star goes to Disney or lives in a castle? Then you can start talking about seeing an actual castle and where you might see one?
