We're heading to WDW over Easter break (March 27-April1). We're planning to head over to GF for the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. I'm considering making a late res for 11:30 (latest time available) so we can have breakfast for lunch. I'm concerned a late res may mean buffet closing up while we're there or the characters not having their usual Disney magic about them.

Anyone else do this? And how was the experience?

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
I have not done this there but have at other character buffets inbetween meals. You will be fine! If they are offering that time then you will have plenty of time to enjoy your meal. They never close the buffets it's seamless from breakfast to lunch. And you will still get plenty of time to meet the characters. :)

You should be fine as far as food being plentiful, hot, etc.. For character entertainment/ engagement 1900 Park Fare is probably one of the best choices whether it be breakfast or dinner. Very interactive, playful, personalized attention and the characters don't seem rushed.

Thanks. I'll keep the 11:30am res. We also have an 8:35 am res that I made at 180 days out and it dawned me this morning (after two cups of coffee) there is another critical factor to consider when selecting whether we'll eat before heading to MK or breaking for a late breakfast. What time (I'm hopeful), our E&A and SDMT fastpasses are. So thanks to your replies and now that I'm more conformable with a late res, my plan is to iron out the fastpass situation and then keep the one res that fits our day best.
