Super Hero Store

Thanks again for all your comments.
One other thing, is there any Xmen or Fantastic Four merch in the shop? I was wondering this because I seem to recall there was a dispute with the licencing for these characters?

Not to my recollection, although I'm trying to recall- there might have been a few (very few) wolverine things.
There is almost no Black Widow merchandise either (and while I was there, I heard several different young girls complaining about that) but that's not Disney's fault- that Marvel merchandising.

Actually the BH6 m&G stopped without being replaced by anyone from Frozen, so I don't think that's true.
Maybe if BH6 had been more of a ACTUAL superhero movie, instead of a sappy tear-jerking "boy and his dog" story with a thin veneer of "superheros" it would fit better and people would have cared more.

I think the problem was that their venue, the Animation pavilion, was about to close.
Also, I don't think it's that Disney doesn't value Big Hero 6; Baymax moves a lot of merch for them. You can't sneeze at one of their candy stores without hitting like nine Baymax candy apples. It's not Frozen, but then, nothing's Frozen. Except maybe Star Wars.

Very true.
I was just disputing the idea that there isn't much BH6 because of the presence of Frozen. There is more than enough room for both- assuming Disney wanted to put forth the effort.

I doubt you'll find much or any official Marvel F4 merch right now, they've distanced themselves from the new Fox movie as much as possible, and as Marvel hold the rights to merchandising there won't be any out there to purchase. But it sound like there's plenty of other choice in store. I'm looking forward to visiting it next year.
