I'm just using a Sony DSC 3.2 Meg model. but it seems lately my pics are becoming washed out towards the left side in direct sunlight. I'm trying to keep the sun out of reach. but that's hard in FLA. a bunch of my pics from the F&G Show are way too light even after running them through PSPro 8. any ideas?

If it's just a problem with the left side of the frame it sounds like a tech problem. I'd take the camera into a SONY store and show the pics to a salesman. Maybe they'd have an idea.

Is this happening on interior photos, or photos using a flash?

The sunlight in Florida is very bright. If you take a picture that it is half in sunlight and half in shade it can really mess up the exposure. Try using the spot meter. It's a button on the back that takes the exposure in the cross-hairs. Then put the cross-hairs on the main subject in your photo. Then use AE Lock button to lock the exposure. See how that works.

But again, if it's just the left side it sounds like a tech problem. Try another Memory Stick. Keep us posted.

Thats a good question. I'm not really sure what to tell you, because i always try and shootin bright sunlight.

If you have the ability to have exposure compensation, try shooting them down a stop or 2. Some setting that says +/- is what im talking about.
