Isn't this a relaxing Sunday? What are your week's plans?

I'm enjoying some pumpkin bread...yummm...and listening to the tunes of Christmas...it's super-early, but today's a magical day...isn't it? :)

The score to "Share a Dream" is a masterpiece...ahhhhhhh....

Did anyone see Lewis Black on Comedy Central friday? It was around 11:00 EST -ish.

--The following is a quote. Thus, I never said it. Its vaguely relevent too. Don't flame me if you don't like it. Just don't read it then--

"I have no religion. Actually, I was born Jewish, but when Channukah came around, my parents gave me a top. They called it a "draidel", I knew it was a top. Then I though to myself, "I don't think I'm going to be Jewish for very long..." I also remember when I was a kid at haloween, sanata wasn't poking his into it!......And for you Christians, just remember that Thanksgiving is NOT Christmas part one!...geez, you guys need to learn when to stop shopping!"

"I already told you that I have no religion, that's why I watched the superbowl this year. It was even on a sunday, so they're trying to help out a bit. Then for the halftime show, they had N*Sync....oh great. Usually, I take a toothpick and shove it into my ear when that crap gets on. But wait, no....it gets well, it gets. Then there's Aerosmith. N*Sync and Aerosmith on one stage. Those are two bands that shouldn't even be in the same STATE, let alone the same stage. And then there was britney spears. I couldn't understand what she was singing, primarily because SHE CAN'T SING [-hopes that the Britney fans won't get ed at me for that one-]. Luckily, I had a spoon in my hand and I crammed it up my ! Because if I'm going to have pain up here [points to head/ears] then I'm gonna have pain down there!.... And the whole thing was sponsored by MTV. Oh yeah, MTV...thats what I think of when I think of music. Well, MTV is to Music as KFC is to Chicken!"

Just finished chaperoning a youth lock-in, with 28 kids and four chaperones. Lots of fun, including Cosmic Bowling, silly games, and playing X-box up on the church's powerpoint projector and screen (really made NFL football game look real!). But now, two days later, I am still recuperating!

This week, along with work (tax auditor), I plan to (1) conduct a missions committee meeting at my church, to arrange for visiting nursing homes, raking leaves for seniors, feeding homeless, or whatever else might work into our schedule for the quarter; (2) get a lot of little things fixed on my car before the warranty expires.

Lots of fun!

My church is Oak Forest Baptist Church, in Chesterfield County, the suburbs of Richmond, Virginia.

But "church" for me is also the "community of believers," no matter the local building or denomination! I think that is what Christ meant when he established the idea of "communion" and said, "where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am also." :)

Thanks for asking!

Weeellll...it was actualy pretty fun. I've been busy all week with school work...(I'm gonna write a really great comment to that kid who's dad is in Imagineering... ...just kidding...well, in a way...well...nevermind). As for my "Disney Life"...not too much yet. I may be at the world a week from now...FINALLY see One Man's Dream. I've been hooked on the Haunted Mansion Holiday for some reason. Also; looking forward to the new Pooh Ride in Disneyland. I wish it'd be more...apart from WDW's version, but it seems to be promising. The Sherman Brothers even redid the score!
