Who has cruised during the summer months departing from the US?
Does anyone have scheduled, or recently been on an Eastern Caribbean? If so, what islands?
I received an email yesterday that our current NCL Eastern itinerary is being switched to a Western. I’m not thrilled about cruising in the Caribbean during the summer as it is, even less so if we’re now doing the same route that we just did over Thanksgiving.
Europe, Alaska, and Hawaii are not an option, we can’t be gone more than 8 nights.
I’m assuming that Tortola is the reason for the reroute, but I know that other lines are still docking there, even with the mega ships. There’s no telling if they will also reroute in the future as well, which is risky for me to switch lines.
I’d love to hear from someone who has been to Tortola after the hurricanes.
Input please, would you just scratch a cruise altogether and plan a different vacation?
