I go from June 28th to August 25th and i just love the summer at WDW.....dont get me wrong its hot and crowded but i wouldnt imagine going any other time!!! i love the heat and the water parks are the best during the july heat.....since it rains all the time it is so nice just to be out in the rain walking around in the park...there hasnt been a year in my life that i havent been there in the summer....i would so go in the summer if i were you....do you have any specific questions cause i can answer them.....

I am actually going to be going down the 12-16th of June myself. It's a first at this time of year for me. I know that the parks have "regular" crowd patterns and I usually go during the value or less crowded time of year. So I am guessing it's going to be crowded. In general, I follow the rule that anytime the kids are out of school, it's going to be crowded.

I go EVERY YEAR in late August, when the Florida kids are back in school (and many other states, too!) The weather is gorgeous, the water parks are perfect for the summer sun (but not overcrowded), and hotel prices have come down a bit. Pack your sunscreen, sunglasses, a poncho for those late-afternoon summer thunderstorms, and a change of footwear, and you're good to go!

My two favorite times to go are right before summer vacation starts in mid june from mid may to mid june (not incl. memoriald day weekend)...but the absolute best time which i experienced this past year was the last week of august. I loved it! Weather was great for the most part and the parks were not too crowded. We had no problems getting PS at any of the popular restaurants. My biggest quibble was that some of the parks in particular MK close early. So we had to do some park hopping so we could see Spectromagic and fireworks, but that was not a big deal. We went to MK on a non Spectro day and then came back in the evening on a separate day to catch spectro. Actually it worked out great, as we missed all the crowds and got to rest up before seeing the parade.

I always go in the summer, and I wouldn't have it any other way. It is nice and hot, sunny, beautiful. It is also, however, rainy, crowded and humid. It is the best in the summer, though. Everything is usually open and running, the parks stay open longer, and it is cheaper to stay at the resorts (value season). Go in the summer, you won't regret it at all.

Me and my dad went the second week of June and it wasn't too crowded yet. This is the week before the peak season starts so there is a good bet you won't see too many crowds.

In Europe I think they get their "holiday" in Aug.. I know in Italy the country practically closes down in Aug... Wierd how here we can go on vacation whenever we want:sohappy:
