Is tour group season expected to be longer than usual? In my experience it doesn’t usually last through late August with the nightmare largely limited to July.

Yes, I always thought July was the tour group time. Not the end of August? Is this really true, because my daughter and family are going the last of August, before school starts. I thought they would avoid all that nonsense! Please clarify!

January is brutal as well. I couldn't believe the crowds my wife and I saw the weekend after MLK. Just brutal.

I believe most schools are back in session early August. That doesn’t mean mom and dad won’t have them skip out on school in early September.

I was there just after the week of MLK weekend for a 2-week trip and I would say there was a decent mix between the Brazilian tour groups and the cheerleaders that were having their competitions.. it would spike just around the start of the weekend but by Thursday of the following week it would die down dramatically.
