Summer Resort Discount & Dining

Does anyone know if Disney will be offering a summer resort discount for cast members with the dining package? Did they offer it last year. We have reservations from the 20th to the 27th and are hoping to add the dining at a discount.

Last summer of was the normal room discount & I don't believe dining was offered. It seems like dining is only offered during non peak periods & I believe the only time room discount is different is with holiday celebration.

I just came on here to ask a very similar question. It seems that if you make a resort reservation using the cast discount, you are unable to add the dinning plan. Is this true? and why?

you can only get dining when it's available to cms. I know it's been available this past march & October. I think they give this option when guest attendance is down.

I tried to add the dining plan and pay full price but they said it wasn't offered at this time for cast members. :fork:
