Summer Nightastic - Question about TOT

So Summer Nightastic is supposed to end this weekend on 8/14.

We already know that the MSEP will be extended.

And I think it was mentioned that the Fireworks won't be.

But does anyone know if the TOT will be extended past summer?

I just saw the videos on YouTube and it looks really cool. I would love to see it but I'm not going to be able to make it by this weekend.

If I was TDO I would at least keep that profile in one of the two shafts. (Although that may cause a bottle neck in the queue :lookaroun)

Anyone know?

Its not staying, they are doing a "going away" passholder event for it this Friday.

And you aren't missing much at all. The drop sequence is cool but not anymore thrilling than the old ones, and every other change ranges from "pathetic" to "mediocre" at best.

Can you or anyone elaborate on exactly what to expect on Friday night at Hollywood Studios? And exactly what changes were made to ToT? :shrug:

1. New effects in boiler room. The lights go off and on.
2. New effects in drop shaft. Viewed from the outside, the drop shafts turn green when the "windows" open up.
3. In the first scene it takes your picture.
4. The 5th dimension room is covered up with a starfield.
5. Heading towards the portal you see the picture that was taken of you on a screen and then it vanishes showing a empty elevator.

6. Then once in the drop shaft, there's no rod Serling narration. It's music from the tip top club.

7. Longer, FULLER, drops. No more of the little drops. Nightastic had some long drops.

I will miss Nightastic. I actually liked it better.

they should just add the the new drop sequence to the additional sequences and keep the boiler room effects. which i don't see why they wouldn't?

Really? I liked it better! I found more scared people for this version than the others. May I ask what is wrong with it?
