Summer 2014 Internships

In February, I applied for two summer internships with Disney out in Burbank. I have yet to hear back at all. I am assuming that I am not being considered for either PI.

Former internship applicants: Did you ever hear back from Disney on if you were no longer being considered? How long do they typically take to fill these internships?

At the end of my interview for my PI, the interviewer stated that final decisions will be made by May 2, 2014. So, we've still got another month left of waiting.

Did you interview for a similar PI? I haven't been contacted in any way, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

No. I interviewed for a CP Alumni Internship. What does your dashboard say?

The status is in "submission." Nothing has changed! The only reason I am confused is because on the Professional Internship FAQ it says…

Question: When will students hear back about the positions they've applied for?
Answer: We receive hundreds of Resumes/CVs for each internship that is posted. Due to the high volume of responses, we are only able to contact those applicants we are interested in interviewing. If a student is no longer being considered for a role, they will be notified via e-mail.

I just haven't been notified of anything whatsoever, so that is why I am a bit bewildered.
