Summer 2004 deals?

Those of you with crystal balls prophesize. Do you think there will be some vacation deals for the summer of 2004. I have a disney visa card so I can use the kids free deal. In 2002, we went on a summer deal, and it was a lot cheaper than the deal with visa. But I also understand they were having trouble getting people to come to disney during that time. So my question is this: Should I book the kids free deal for early June, or wait for a better deal?

I would suggest that you take advantage of the Visa deal while it is available. There is no guarentee that there will be another deal or a better one coming out. I would book the Visa deal and put the downpayment on it and then if something better comes along, you can re-book it under that and cancel out the Visa with no penalties as long as it's not within 45 days prior to your arrival.

Oh I do hope they do. But heah, disney owes us nothing. Look what they did to their loyal ap people this year with all those room only rate issues. It is Disneys job to get every penny pinched out of us that they can. As Pam said, you can always book, cancel and rebook. I will wait till I see what is offered. The Poly is our favorite, but heah if disney does not come out with any decent deals that a family can afford then guess what, I will only stay at the Poly a few days and then switch to our new second favorite hotel, the swan. They offer a decent price for a family of 5 unlike disney.
