For a 6:00 show, you'll want to arrive at the box office at 5:30, so that you can be seated in time for the pre-show. The show will get out at 7:45 As such, I might recommend an 8:30 dinner. That will give you enough time to exit out of the auditorium, find your car, and exit out of the parking lot along with everyone else.

Olivia's at Old Key West or Boatwrights at Port Orleans Riverside are some nearby choices that are good. I'd definetly recommend having a priority seating, so that you can minimize any wait time once you arrive.

If you are taking Disney Transport, or just prefer to remain at Downtown Disney, Portobello Yacht Club at the Marketplace is WONDERFUL. (a bit on the more expensive side though).

Although Planet Hollywood and the Rainforest Cafe have excellent theming, the extended waits and overpriced food makes me tend to stay away.

Well, since you have a 9 year old and a senior, I'm not sure that House of Blues would work, but it has really good food, if you like cajun (like I said, maybe not the best choice with your party). However, Fulton's has very good fish, and a kids menu, so that might work better for your party, though it is a bit more expensive. Whatever you chose, have a good time and enjoy your food and the show!
