OK new question. We are leaving May 25th will be at DW for 10 days with our own kids, nieces & nephews. We almost always stick to the same things...ice cream cones during parades, etc. But my for one of my nephews this is his first trip (age 15)to DW. SO what are your favorites to eat, see etc. ? We are so used to doing and seeing and eatting the same things I just want to make sure we dont let him miss out something great because we have forgotten about it! Thanks for the suggestions :)

Well, for places to eat...it all depends on your taste of food...I personally like the restaurants in World Showcase for a variety of different foods...for shows and rides, TOT and RnRC at MGM...if you are into movies, The Great Movie Ride is a must do...Test Track in Epcot is awesome, and most all the rides in Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom...if you are a big fan of shows and parades, definately see the new parades, and dont leave out Fantasmic!! its great! the only parade that I think has gone downhill is Tapestry of Dreams...but of course that is only my personal opinion! well, hope this helps a little bit...being a teenager myself, i am still a child at heart!

We are leaving May 25th
We're arriving on the 26th! It's a great time of year to go.
If your teen is into sports, try lunch at the ESPN club and maybe some games in the arcade. Two summers ago, there were some bike riders who had competed in the X Games that were doing tricks and jumps down by Atlantic Dance. Check the schedule when you get there for events. The Boardwalk is a pretty cool place...

I'm 18, and have been to WDW twice while a teen at ages 17 and 14 (i've been there 6 times total). If your nephew is like any "normal", non-addicted to WDW teen then he's going to do all of the thrill rides: Splash, Space, and Thunder Mountains, Alien Encounter, Test Track, Body Wars, Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Star Tours, Dinosaur, and Kali River Rapids. These are all MUST DOs for teens. Another must do for teens is DisneyQuest; no teen can resist an unlimited amount of video games for one price (I know I can't) as well as taking him to the Water Parks. One thing you should NOT do is force him on rides that he finds "childish", i.e. almost everything in Fantasyland, that is unless he wants to go on them. Some rides I think he will enjoy regardless are: Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Cranium Command, All of the Worlds in Epcot, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Spaceship Earth, Backlot Tour, Muppetvision 4-D, Indy Stunt Show, Great Movie Ride, Kilimanjaro Safari, It's Tough to Be A Bug, and the Pangani Forest walk in Asia (I might be confusing the name of that, sorry if I did). Another good idea might be to take him to Pleasure Island one night, especially to the Comdey Warehouse and Adventurer's Club. I don't suggest those for kids under 10 or 11, so you might need to leave the young ones with a babysitter or one of the clubs at the resorts. Throughout the trip try to make sure that he's happy, but not killing your vacation; this is your family's vacation as well, just keep him pleased. As for eating, if he's into music-House of Blues, sports-All-Star Cafe or ESPN Zone, movies-Planet Hollywood, and in general: 50's Primetime Cafe, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and the buffet at the Beach Club Resort (forgot the name).

Again this is my opinion and taken from my experience, so I hope you got some good info from this.

It's simple...just leave him somewhere between Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror all week...he'll find something to do! I've been to disney world at ages: 5,6,7,8,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17, and this summer...18! Unless he hates thrill rides, just leave him there! If he doesn't like thrill rides...I dunno...Spaceship Earth???

Thanks for the info on the ride situation. We werent going to force the boys in Fantasyland with the girls (2,5 & 8). I was thinking of letting them go on their own for awhile to do their own things,,meet up for meals and other things. What are your favorite snacks? We were planning on eatting at Sci-FI, maybe 50s prime time, my kids love eatting in Germany. but thanks so much for all the info. Our kids are the two younges...2 & 5 yr old girls so whats fun for my group proabably wouldn't appeal to the oldest one! There will be three adults in the group so we will probably split up for a few hours daily...oh yeah we are going to take advantage of the e-ride nights..thought that would be a great way for them to get their fill on the thrill rides which they love!

Im 14 and you must take him to MGM. Everything there is great for teens. Spaceship Earth, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and all the rides in fantasy land are fun, but if he doens't want to go on the rides in fantasy land don't force him! Still when I went last year I went on all the fantasy land rides and if you promise not to tell anyone.... Had a blast on them! :D
