I am trying to find recent (within the last year) photos/videos of the guest rooms in the Sugarloaf building at Grand Floridian. Are these rooms refurbed? Anyone have any tips or suggestions? Or their own photos? YouTube and Google haven't been much help. Most appreciated.

Hi friend!

Sugarloaf, like all the other buildings, has been refurbished. Here is what the new rooms look like:

Found these pictures of the Sugarloaf lounge area (you'll need to click on each one individually.)

Note that the views in Sugarloaf will not be the straight on MK view you had at the Poly. One side of the building faces the marina and the other side faces the garden areas (although you *may* be able to see the castle from upper floor rooms.) True club level theme park views will be in the main building (Royal Palm Club). If you are willing to sacrifice the food and beverage offerings, non-club theme park view in Sago Cay is amazing (we could even hear the wolf howl from Haunted Mansion!) We've also stayed lagoon view in Boca Chica and could see the MK and Wishes. All rooms at the GF receive nightly turn down and have the robes and DVD player, so it's like staying club without the food.
