As part of the Summer Nightastic! promotion this summer the usual dance bands each night at Tomorrowland Terrace are morphing into the "Coca-Cola Dance Party". The usual bands will be there, but now they are beefed up with go-go dancers and a DJ and assorted nightly hoopla. This Nightastic! summer promotion is shaping up quite nicely from all early reports.
The first night of Nightastic! on June 12th kicks off with the very popular Suburban Legends rising up from underground on the Tomorrowland Terrace stage. For those not from SoCal, the Suburban Legends are a local OC band that does hilarious choreography with a broad array of brass horns, drums and other instruments, all set to cheesy pop hits of the 70's and 80's or Disney musical hits from the 90's. Their covers of Under The Sea or I Just Can't Wait To Be King are legendary.
And anyone who has watched their high energy performances at Disneyland in the past knows they put on quite a show, and the mobs of teenage girls screaming at their feet are a good sign of their success.
