I submitted this question to the moderator a couple of weeks ago but I think the poor guy is buried in requests, so maybe some of you regular users can answer it for me.
What does it mean to "subscribe to a forum"? I can read and post to any forum without subscribing to it and the "view recent posts" covers all fourms whether I'm subscribed or not. So I'm trying to understand what services "subscribing" provides.
