Stupid MVMCP question!

I know this is going to sound stupid, but I have a question regarding MVMCP. We have ADRs for CRT for 6pm on a date that MVMCP begins at 7pm. I doubt we'll be out of the restaurant by 7. Because our 5 yo would not last until 12 pm, we opted not to stay for MVMCP. However, I have read that we can still "shop" on Main Street as long as we want but we can't ride any rides or anything else.

My question is, will they kick us out of MK as soon as we are finished eating or can we enjoy just the atmosphere of MVMCP without riding rides or treats (we'll be full anyway!)???

I have no idea what the protocol is for this. We would enjoy seeing the "snow" on Main street and maybe stay till 7:30 if that is allowed. We of course wouldn't violate any Disney rules if this isn't permitted. Also, will we be "hurried" through our meal so they can get everyone out by 7 pm???

No, they're very strict about herding people out that don't have wristbands. I imagine if you finish after the party starts, they'll politely escort you out. I have no idea if they'll try to hurry you up. I'm surprised they would take a 6pm reservation to a non party-ticket holder.

At MNSSHP, we got stopped walking in the adventureland/liberty square area because they were checking to make sure everyone had a wristband. One lady who didn't was walked up front.

They wont hurry you through - but the official line is you'll be escorted out.
