I just returned from another great WDW trip, and one of the biggest changes I noticed since my last visit was the new stroller parking areas.
The most obvious were near Fantasy Land, but I saw several new parking areas, and fairly strict enforcement of the policies.
It seems to be working great. The worst choke points seemed much less clogged and having the strollers all corralled together really helped both maneuvering and aesthetics in many areas.
It looks like WDW is striving to find ways to balance everyone's needs and on this issue has found success.
