Do we have a stripped down version of the site without GIFs, embedded JPGs and embedded videos?

My old computer is getting tired of some of the crap people post.

Appreciated. Just a suggestion there. I'm not sure if its Chrome misbehaving, the ad & tracking blocks misbehaving or what but Sometimes all those embedded GIFs just slow things down to a crawl.

I have personally made an effort to stop posting images of the living dead. Well, that and The Mom's editing.

There are Chrome extensions available that block/limit GIF animations.
