strange prize in Disney World crane machine

I was watching a video with this kid playing various crane machines at Disney World and this caught my attention

Is that a Stewie plush? The last thing I expected to see in a Disney World crane machine is a friggin' Adult Swim character :/

I'm sure they just fill them with whatever and put a few Disney themed items hoping people won't win and go to one of the shops to purchase the plush instead! However on my last trip my friend and I who are addicted to claw machines won a Goofy, Mickey, and Minnie from one machine and only payed $3. Way better deal than paying upwards of $20 for each.

Aren't most of the arcade games and other equipment owned/operated by a 3rd party? If so, I can't see it being that strange. 3rd party buys box o'generic claw toys, dumps box into claw machine.

I agree...but I would think Disney would restrict the prizes to be Disney related?

I would agree also. Maybe cuz Disney stuff is too expensive for the claw machines...

Yeah, you think there'd at least be some quality control to keep out Adult Swim and Despicable Me characters.
