Strange Boat Sighting

I saw a strange boat the other day putting around the Fort Wilderness dock area. It was a long covered pontoon boat, with painted cannon ports on the side and a red and white striped top, along with a few rigged masts and a Jolly Roger Flag. What in the world? Someone out there must know.

Sounds like the Pirate Adventure boat... Kids go on for a pirate trip.

EDIT: Found it on the WDW site:

Disney's Pirate Adventure

Aspiring buccaneers between the ages of 4 and 12 board a pirate-themed boat and scour the waterways around Walt Disney World Resort in search of pirate treasure during a swashbuckling high-seas adventure.

On this guided expedition, each participant enjoys a light snack and beverage, learns how to talk like a pirate, visits legendary ports-of-call, and—if he or she is lucky—returns with a bag of pirate booty! Disney's Pirate Adventure is a 2-hour sailing voyage that takes place each day at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The cost per child is $34.00, plus tax. Space is limited. For reservations, please call (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call.

I think there are a few, as we saw one over at the Yacht club last trip. And at POFQ we also saw one of the pirates take a digger and do a face plant cause he was carrying the pirate flag instead of holding the hand rails going up the stairs. Poor kid. So it would sound like they have at least 3, one for each waterway area.

I have a picture of the one by the YC/BC. I'll post it later tonight.

I don't recall gun ports. Just a Jolly Roger, some rigging, and guns from POTC gift shop hanging in the rigging.

the gunport holes were simply painted on to wood panels on he sides of the boat. I would post a photo but I have no idea how to do it lol.
