Stitch on the Monorail

I'm sure if anything has been posted about this...but is Stitch still the voice on the monorails or is the regular guy back? Just wondering if anyone knew or if I missed it.

There are stickers on the front of the monorail and some of the side windows. I think they're cute. I never noticed him talking though, maybe I was daydreaming too much. I could've sworn I heard "Por favor, mantengan se allejado de las puertas", yes, I definately did. Never heard Stitch, just saw him all over the monorails.

I know that im at Disney World when i here those words "Stand clear of the doors / Por favor mantegase alejado de las puertas". Althoug would love to hear Stich saying it.

When you go to Magic Kingdom--First the guy speaks then you hear Por favor, mantengan se allejado de las puertas, then Stitch speaks and says welcome to Stitch Kingdom...
That is just going to the magic kingdom, I don't know about going to Epcot, MGM, or AK.. We usually drive to those 3 parks

Has anybody noticed - at least on the Epcot monorails - they FINALLY took off those disgusting, annoying, unDisney Stitch decals off and replaced them with really sharp looking 50 year celebration decals on the windows. Good ridance Stitch!! Please, don't ever show up on the monorails again!! :sohappy: :wave:

Isn't it incredible how Disney took one of their most popular characters and turned him in to something that no one wants to see. The stitch infusion worked ok for a while and now it is just annoying. I loved stitch, and now I can't stand him either.

Heehee! When I first saw the title of this thread I thought someone had spotted Stitch on tracks of the monorail!

I just listened to the monorail recording (thanks dkrfla). The guy sounds pretty annoying, more or less like what they use for the movie coming attractions to get you pumped to see something. Then the stitch overlays are obviously obnoxious. We have to think that Stitch will be gone eventually, because they won't be pumping that attraction forever (well we can at least hope for it).

Epcot monorails are the same trains as all the other beams -- they rotate.

I was just gonna say that. We were at the TTC when they were switching them. They also added one to the main line that they replaced, so we were in the front of the monorail when they did safety checks @ the MK station. The pilot was very nice, talkative and informative. It was cool to be up there for all that.

Work in Epcot parking. Looking at monorails all day long. None of them have Stitch on them. :sohappy:
