After listening to my daily dose of sorcerer radio today, I thought to myself...hmm I think I want to buy all of these songs up...I'll go check out the official album...so I looked up the tracks on the internet and realized that the two disk cd is pretty stinky.
Out of hundreds and hundreds of songs...these 35 are nice and classics, but there are so many more and so many gorgeous instrumentals in all areas of the four parks. Is there any way that anyone has literally bought official cds (I"m sure they don't have a box set of them all from each park...although this should be made) and have the park songs in their entirety?? I would really prefer to actually buy them somewhere! THanks everybody!

Track List
  1. Disc 1 All Aboard! (Main Street Station)
  2. Welcome Medley (Main Street)
  3. Frield Like Me (Enchanted Tiki Room - Under New Management)

A lot of the park loops and area music isn't for sale and never was. Your best bet is to use a bit torrent and go to MouseBits. I understand your hesitation over file sharing, but with rare music like this, it'll be your best bet.

I own the CD collection above and a few other ones a la Illuminations and some parade soundtracks, but that's as far as it goes because they really don't have much else for sale.

A lot of the park music (the BGM anyway) is not owned by Disney, thus due to copyrights and the like, it can't be sold on CD. Everyone asks for a CD of the Innoventions Plaza music, but it's just not possible.

I know Randy Thornton puts his heart and soul into producing these albums, but he hits a lot of walls (from upper management, etc.) when it comes to what goes onto them.

After listening to my daily dose of sorcerer radio today, I thought to myself...hmm I think I want to buy all of these songs up...I'll go check out the official album...so I looked up the tracks on the internet and realized that the two disk cd for around 50 bucks or so, is pretty stinky.

While I do completely agree that I've been disappointed several times in the past few years of WDW Album releases, I just want to point out that if I'm not mistaken, the album sells for something in the neighborhood of $25-30 at WDW. Is it safe to assume you're pricing it from something similar to the Laughingplace.com store? If so know that they are *total* ripoff artists and mark things $15-20 on top of cost on average. I'm sorry, but "the burden" of going to WDW to pick up something is not equal to that kind of mark up!

Why not just order it direct from WDW mail order? (assuming you want to order it)
