Hey, I've been writing about the Haunted Mansion since 1989 (in the late StoryboarD Magazine), and a Facebook post in one of the Haunted Mansion fan groups got me thinking about the exterior of the Florida Mansion. Wow, this is great work. I think your right on the money with your claims. The Wayne Manor has been used in a lot of other tv and movies. The one that stuck out to me is Scary Movie 2, which is parodying the same films the mansion also takes from. This article has some good info on the house.

Thanks for the kind words! I had come across this website in my research, but couldn't really include it as it went beyond the boundaries of my thesis. Good stuff, though!
