Stickers in WDW

We are going to WDW in May/June 2009 with our 10 month old girl. This will be our first trip with her and I've been trying to think of something special to do with her that she can look back on when she's older. I hope that she continues her carefree personality and doesn't begin to play strange.

I read somewhere that CM's at attractions have stickers (possibly that relate to the attraction). Can someone confirm this for me? I would love to collect these in a Disney Sticker book for her. Since she is too small for pins (though we will get some of these too) I thought the stickers would be a great alternative. I am aware of the stickers for the DVC.

Thanks
~Michelle

There are stickers, but they are not attraction specific. The different stickers are more/less just character stickers. The list includes: (each line is one sticker)

Mickey Face
Mickey Body
Goofy
Donald
Chip/Dale
Woody
Buzz
Snow White/Dwarfs
Aladdin/Jasmine
Lady/Tramp
Pirate Mickey
Cinderella
Sleeping Beauty
Simba
Sorc. Mickey

Guest relations/Dream Squad can be helpful in collecting all of them. Unfortunately, there isn't much rhyme or reason to where each one is. ex. Mickey stickers in Fantasyland shops...but no princess stickers

Make an appointment for her to get her hair cut at the Main Street Barber Shop. They "measure" the child in stickers. She gets the number of stickers for how tall she is. They also put Pixie Dust in her hair. It's a really fun experience for kids. If she has enough hair!!!

At EPCOT, if you buy a Passport, their are stickers for each country. There is also a location in each country that the CM will write in the passport in their own language. This will be neat for her to have in later years.

Also, I know she's 10 months, but let her "color" at the KidCot Stops. Each country adds a stamp and a symbol to whatever the activity is. When my son did this, it was like a Mardi Gras mask. They got to color it and fix it up, the CM added a stamp from their country and attached a symbol of their country to hang from the mask.

When I took my son & niece one year, I made journals for them. I wrote the itinerary down as well as notes of the trip. Each day I wrote where we were going, their different reactions to different things, character autographs, etc. Because he was old enough to write, I let him write his own thoughts. He looks at the book now, and realizes what all he did when he was 7. This is neat for when they're older!

Thanks for the great ideas. I knew about the activity spots in Epcot for the kids but didn't know about the stickers for them as well.

I love the idea of a journal. :sohappy: I have written notes on previous trips to WDW after the day is finished quickly jotting down what we did and what happened. I really like the idea of combining the journal with autographs. I will have to come up with something for our trip.

Does anyone else have any more suggestions on things to do? Or must do's with a 10 month old?

Thanks
~Michelle

You all might think this is asinine, but the WDW stickers are a custodial nightmare on the level of chewing gum. Disney doesn't sell gum for custodial reasons, and I hope to God they wise up and stop with the stickers. I'm not trying to ruin anyone's fun but they end up everywhere, railings, ride vehicles, tables, chairs, pavement, drains, etc and really contribute to unsightliness in the parks.

Why not just some family photos...The 3 of you with as many characters as you can find over the course of your trip and then scrapbook them? Go in the judges tent in Magic Kingdom and in Epcot there is a place where you can meet them. When she is older, she can do the autograph thing.

I'm trying to come up with other ideas in case she plays strange with the characters. We would love to have as many family photo's with characters as possible, but if she's going to be crying I don't want to push her.
