Staying at Saratoga Springs, breakfast at Contemporary Resort - parking for Magic Kingdom...

We have a 7:15 reservation at Chef Mickey's. We're staying at the Saratoga Springs resort. The concierge told us to drive rather than take the bus because of the time. However, we have fast pass reservations starting at 9:20 in Magic Kingdom. Since we are Disney Resort guests, can we park at another resort all day, or will we need to drive to the parking lot after breakfast with Mickey?

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Your easiest way would be to just park at the Ticket and Transportation center and take the monorail to Contemporary, and then take the monorail to MK after breakfast. If you park at the Contemporary you will need to move your car and go park at TTC. :)

Thanks, I'll look into that. Then take the bus or monorail back to TTC when done at Magic Kingdom?

Depending on the time of day the Ferry or the Monorail back to the TTC.

Generally the parking lot at TTC opens 2 hours before the park. If it is 9am that day that maybe why they suggested parking at the Contemporary.

Wouldn't take the bus as they take a while. Ferry or Monorail like mentioned is your best bet. We always drive everywhere too and use monorail/ferry when we can. It's alot quicker and easier than the busses! Lol :)

Well, this is tomorrow morning. Great planning, I know. ha! So if they don't start the monorail until 7:00, we won't get to breakfast in time. Maybe I'll end up driving the car back to TTC while the family goes to MK without me. Ugh.

You could drop them off a few minutes before 7am and drive over to the TTC you might miss the first 5 minutes or so of breakfast, I also heard they give you a 15 minute window to arrive for your reservation if you are late. If you do take the car to TCC after breakfast, make sure your family has all of the bags so you do not have to deal with the bag check.

As long as you are not super duper late for your Ressie you will be fine. I don't think we have ever made more than a few reservations on time and then when we do we still wait anyway. Lol. You should be there on time even if it does not run till 7 and if you are late it would be not by much. You will be fine. :)

We have arrived even a half hour late or later many many times due to whatever issues and they still honored our ressies at quite a few locations EVEN the hardest to get in places. Never have been turned away! Not recommended but they don't just cut you off at 15 min usually. This is Disney and they want your day to be magical and understand things happen. :)

Thanks for all the advice, I appreciate the help. I think I'll drop them off at the breakfast and head back to the TTC and hopefully catch the first monorail back to the breakfast. that way they won't be dealing with getting into the park without me to help (2 year old and 6 year old - yikes).

You are totally right they will probably let you in regardless if you are more than . I am one of those people who is always scared to miss something I show up WAY to early lol. But you are right if you are at the gates around 7 there won't be any line for the monorail so you should probably be pretty close to being on time!
