Staying at CBR during Refurbs

Has anyone recently staying at CBR in the last couple of weeks during the refurbishment? We are going in Sept and staying in the Pirate Rooms. Just wanted to get an idea of how it was? I have heard the food was not good, which is not a big deal to me as we can find other options.

@Brittany Crumbley I was just there from Aug 17th-22nd with just myself and my 17 yr old daughter .. We had a great location in building 33 which is Trinidad North. We were one minute from a bus stop and quiet pool and maybe 5 mins from the buffet and main pool area. We knew what we were getting into when I booked the room, so we went in with very open minds lol. We also had no plans to eat at the resort, but we did end up hitting the buffet for dinner one night. It was in a tent...and the food was just ok. They had soups, salads, a carving station with turkey and pork roast, mashed and baked pots, rice and beans, chicken wings, desserts etc.....and a kids buffet with mac n cheese, pasta and meatballs and chx nuggets. The nightly movie was being shown INSIDE the buffet on a tent wall lol....

My suggestion? Don't eat there...everything else was totally fine...

Have not been there in the last couple of weeks but was there in May. The demolition/construction had begun, food court closed and they had set up the dining tent. Overall CBR did not have the Diney feel but we did not spend much time there other than to sleep; most of our time was spent in the parks. As far as dining we ate lunch in the parks (FF) and TS for dinner. There are plenty of other dining options available as you posted Have a great time.
