Staying at Cabana Bay for a few nights but the parks close at 7.. any good suggestions for what to do on a sat night?

On friday I'm hitting an xmas party over at mk.. but haven't decided what to do on sat night. 7 is pretty early for the parks to close.. I'm used to staying in disneyworld where you can bop over to epcot until 9 etc.

What about staying at Universal.. what would you do after 7 on a sat night there if you were staying at Cabana Bay?

There are shops, restaurants, night clubs, a movie theater and a miniature golf course at City Walk. Back at the hotel, the pools are open late, there is the bowling alley, and some nights they do movies by the pool.

City Walk- and the Mini Golf :) Take in a movie at the AMC, people watch, Shop, relax at the pools, sleep! Or head out to I drive or DTD. You can also check out the happenings at the other resorts, and hang out at the HRC- there may even be a show???

If you happen to be at EPCOT on Saturday night, you can head over to the Boardwalk area after the park closes? Although, if you are driving, it may be a pain to get back to where your car is.

HHN is the number one thing to do on a Saturday night at Universal, but lines will be immense so consider Express or a good touring plan, but if that isn't your thing, CityWalk is the main thing to do at night as others have said.

However, for options that are a little cheaper but a little further out, you're about a 30 minute walk, or a very cheap taxi, from International Drive, up by Wet'n'Wild, where you have lots of bars, restaurants, Fun Spot funfair and other late night entertainment options. I used to love going to check out the mini alligators.

A bit further down i-Drive, a few more dollars in a cab, and you have Senor Frogs, Bahama Breeze, Pointe Orlando and all the food and entertainment options down there.

Basically your problem isn't what to do after the parks shut, it's what not to do!

If you're staying at Cabana Bay, I can't recommend the lazy river enough after a long day at the parks. Even in slightly chilly weather, the water is heated.
