How is the bus service and overall guest experience? We usually stay at pop! But can't seem to book a room there for the week we want, but movies is available.

Thanks!

We have stayed there once and enjoyed it and had no issues. We opted for a preferred room as we hate the long walk at night after we have been on the go all day. The bus service was good. It had a few shared buses during the late morning and afternoon to EP, HS, and AK. We always had dedicated buses during early morning and evening to those parks and MK always had a dedicated bus.

we tend to park hop a lot, and if we go in the first week of march as planned, would probably only be going back to the hotel after a park closed and we couldn't hop to another ha! We tend to be very like the rope drop, to good night kiss type of family.

we’ve stayed at movies many times. never had an issue there. food court could be crazy in the morning if u don’t time it right. as far as bus service, they do share buses with sports/music. sometimes u might get lucky & have your own bus. i think the most we’ve waited for a bus was 15-20 minutes. have a good trip!

Stayed in January 2016, Wait at the hotel for buss was 15-20 min. Ride up to 30 min for the MK. Depending on the time of day you either had a dedicated route to the parks or you had to share, most often then was with Coranado. Sometimes had to wait for the second bus coming from the parks. Most of the time we were going from rope drop to pushed out of the parks. We usually went some place else on property to eat, and tended to avoid the food court.

Update! We ended up with a room at POP March 3rd through the 10th. Even requested the same room as last time. Either way we at least know what to expect from POP!

For anyone staying at Movies but not in a Preferred room, request the Mighty Ducks section. Many of its rooms are closer to the Music bus stops and food court than they are to Movies'. (Some of the closest Ducks rooms are actually closer than some of the Preferred Music rooms)
At the end of the night it means you can just hop in line for Music or Movies, whichever line is shorter (or shows up first).

Tell us more about the food court craziness. I'm staying at All Star Movies for a long weekend in a couple of weeks. The parks are opening at 9 am those days and it looks like the World Premiere Food Court opens at 6:30. Should we aim to get there super early?

Already mentioned but I will give more detail..... they do consolidate the busses to movies, music and sports on occasion through out the day depending on demand. This should not be considered a bad thing because it does not automatically mean a crowded bus. What it does mean is quicker service albeit multiple stops but they are right next to each other. Again it is based on demand.

i usually hit the food court around 7 while my wife is getting ready. it’s usually not that busy at all at that time. but when it picks up, it picks up quickly.
