We sometimes use my friend's excess points to stay at DVC. This year we need a two-bedroom for a Fri/Sat/Sun with the idea being to use points for the Sun and get Fri and Sat direct from Disney - hopefully at an AP rate. Could my friend book this all together through DVC noting that we would pay customer rates for the two weekend nights, or would they just book Sunday and we book the other two by calling WDW? They weren't sure and obviously neither am I. It would seem more logical to have one ressie. Thanks.

Reservations for DVC villas booked separately via CRO (with cash) and DVC Member Services (with points) cannot be linked. Thus, you will probably have to check-out of your cash room and then check into your points room. The Front Desk may be able to ensure you get the same room.
DVC members can also book cash stays at DVC resorts for a 25% discount, when available. However, I'm pretty sure the DVC member must be in the room.
