If I walked into MK today with my MB from last year could I walk up to a kiosk and reserve three FP+ on them like I did with borrowed MB last year?

No. Disney has cracked down on this abuse of the system and anyone caught making FP selections on a band that was not used to enter the park or on one that does not belong to you will be banned from using the Fastpass System and your MM+ account will get locked, meaning you will be forced to speak with a Cast Member who will give you a verbal warning before unlocking it. Repeated rule breaking will get you ejected from Walt Disney World property.
