Starwood Resorts, owner of the WDW Swan and Dolphin resorts, has rolled out wireless room key technology on compatible iPhones and future Apple Watch products.

Since Disney has already upgraded their on-site hotel properties with similar My Magic + wristband technology, is it just a matter of time before Disney does the same?

Not unless the locks support BLE, Currently the magic band uses 13.56 Mhz RFID for doorlocks/charging/ticket media and BLE @ 2.4 Ghz for other functions like tracking and Memory Maker.
