Start in one park but LLMP for second

We'll be visiting WDW once the Christmas parties start up. Is this scenario possible??

Start our morning with a rope drop at the MK on a "party day". Ride whatever we can with (hopefully smaller) standby lines; possibly grab an LL for TRON in advance. And then park hop over to EPCOT, where we've already secured a Multipass for the day and have booked 3 attractions in advance for later in the afternoon/evening.

In essence, it's similar to the stacking strategy you could employ with G+ except we'd know that we couldn't use LLMP to get passes for rides at the MK that morning.

I see what you're doing. Hoping for smaller crowds in MK because of MVMCP that evening. You could also purchase LLSP for 7DMT unless you get a good standby wait time. You're already setup for Epcot.

Best strategy is to START in the Park you have the Multipass, and reserve (in advance ) a ride for Rope Drop. As soon as you scan you go make your next selection for ANY PARK, and ANY TIER

We but multipasses for AK, ride Dinosaur or EE at rope drop, and reserve MK or DHS upper tier minutes after rope drop….

I understand your strategy and sounds like a decent plan….

We think it best to schedule rides at rope drop, scan, and then choose from multiple Parks….

That works great for some people.

But for those who want to know they can ride A, B & C then it doesn’t work so well.

And since OP is starting at MK on a day where crowds will be much lower, they will benefit from that. They’re unlikely to be able to get TT, Remy or Frozen even just after rope drop.

Yes, it IS tough to get a Top Tier after that 1st Rope Drop scan.

If one starts in Park 1 with a multi pass for Park 1, scans their first LL at rope drop, and then attempts my stated strategy, it is VERY tough to land any cherished Top Tier in another Park. We were able to start at AK or Epcot, and get Slinky, Frozen , TT and Peter Pan. These would be the exception/outlier but it is not impossible to land one….

With that said, we’ve NEVER been able to get Ratatouille and I’d assume TT would be a dream over the coming months…

And, to your point, the OPs strategy of starting in MK at Rope Drop in a Party Day is definitely a way to get a good haul of rides ….
