Star Wars Weekends?

I've been searching for the dates for 2009 and they apprear to not be out yet. Does anyone know when they normally release the dates for these? DS is borderline obsessed with Star Wars these days and I'd like to try to plan a weekend trip for him to see the characters and the parade (the pictures I saw looked great). Thanks so much for any input you can provide.

In the past they have been the last two weekends in May and the first two in June. However due to celebration IV in 2007 the dates were move out of May and all 4 SWW were held in June. That same schedule (first 4 weekends in June) held true for last year and it is reasonable to think that it will be the same for 2009. If you are trying to schedule now for an upcoming trip in 2009 the first two weekends will be your safest bet.

Thank you so much. I remembered that they used to be in May and that this year they were all in June. In the past has there been any weekend better than another (1st 2nd 3rd 4th). We probably cannot go until at least 2nd weekend in June if not the 3rd. Also am I correct to assume that they do the motorcade each day? That would be the main reason fo us to go and maybe to see some of the shows. DS really would not care about getting autographs and meeting the "real" people. In fact he probably wouldn't understand that some one else plays these people, to him they are real people.

Yes, they do the motorcade each day. If you go I would highly recommend that you get there early...no less that 1/2 an hour before park opening. If you change your mind and want to get autographs you will need to get there even earlier than that. SWW have become insanely popular and DHS get busy very quick.
