So they took away Star Wars Weekends where you had special events with actor and character meet and greets for free and added Star Wars Galactic Nights where they have special events with actor and character meet and greets for $129/person!!! Is there no end!

In my answer to your question, Is there no end? No. No, there is not.

Heaven forbid a company try to make money on its assets. If consumers don't like it, they'll remove or change it. If you don't like it, vote against it by not going. The beauty of capitalism.

I see no issue with them doing special event tickets for Magic Kingdom because it has enough rides for me to justify a special ticket for significantly shorter ride lines.... But I can't see any way to justify it for Studios... The park barely has enough for me to spend half a day as it is... short lines would just allow me to be done with the park in a couple of hours. Not worth it.

You don't really do these special events for the attractions....well I don't and neither do the people I go to these events with, you go for the special event.

When we would go to MNSSHP we would go to dress up, watch the parade and fireworks, trick or treating, special meet n greets, etc. The only attraction that was a must do was HM, everything else was just killing time between the events.

SWW was the same way. We were there to do the things that we could not do on any other day at DHS. We would do the obligatory ride on ST and maybe a spin on GMR to kill time, but that was about it. All of our time was spent doing the event. If it was not for the merchandise, we would have never gone down Sunset Blvd.
