Star Wars weekend

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone would know the dates of the Star Wars weekend for 2005? My fiancee was reading about the one just a couple of weeks ago in a magazine, and would like to plan a trip for the one next June. If anyone has any info it would help out alot.

I don't think that they will be having them next year. Next year Episode III will come out and there will be the Celebration 3 in Indianapolis. They may have a small celebration at Disney in honor of the new movie, but nothing big. Sorry! Hopefully they will be back in 2006!

How certain are you of that? Because for Star Wars Ep. 2 they had the celebration, as well as Star Wars Weekend. What would be different this time?

No they didn't have the weekends the year Ep II came out. They had one weekend when the movie premeired with extra characters in the park. But no celebs and no events. They said at the time that it was because Lucasfilm was concentrating on the Celebration that year.

As for GrumpysGal's question, Mhead answered it pretty well. They'll probably continue the SW Weekends in 2006, there won't be a movie then since the movie series will be finished but there will be a (rumored) television series starting then. I hope they continue with the SW Weekends because they are a lot of fun and the T-Shirts are very cool!

I hope it continues forever. Though I've never made it, it has produced some of the best, most sought after, and limited edition pins to date. I myself would love to go but, for me its always a bad time of year. I'm as much of a Star Wars freak as I am a WDW freak. Action figures, pins, the like. But I can always live in Star Wars Galaxies (the online game) anywayz!

Its Star Wars . Its big it brings in people. You know they have something planned for next year. Just dont know what yet. As it gets nearer ppl will start to know.

I certainly hope they do continue this. I have made it everytime so far and don't plan on stopping.
