STAR WARS: RUGOSA CAMPAIGN
With Galaxy’s Edge en route to Anaheim and Orlando, the question now turns to the international parks. Will they receive copy-pastes of Galaxy’s Edge- set in the Sequel Trilogy era- or will they become unique lands set in a separate part of the expansive Star Wars Universe?
Today we will be exploring a fantastical future Disney Studios Paris, with a Star Wars land set in the midst of the Clone Wars.
War! The Republic is crumbling
under attacks by the ruthless
Sith Lord, Count Dooku.
There are heroes on both sides.
Evil is everywhere.
Replacing the lackluster “Backlot” land of the park, STAR WARS: RUGOSA CAMPAIGN is set on the dried coral planet Rugosa, where clone forces are launching an assault to free the planet from the hands of the vile Droid Army.

The planet’s surface is covered with a sandy dry rock. Giants corals, in both pink and blue, serve as the planet’s foliage. Various green and red roses dot the ground. At night, the foliage illuminates into a colorful light show.
But the landscape is hardly the focus of Rugosa today. We’ve entered into the Republic’s campaign headquarters, where they plan the offensive on the planet. The first thing you’ll notice is the massive Venator Class Star Destroyer docked on the surface, providing supplies to the troops.
The Venator serves as a “focal point” for the land, which the headlining e-ticket located within the docking bay. We’ll get to that later, for now, we’ll discuss the other Republic station at the Rugosa Outpost.
LOGISTICS
Star Wars: Rugosa Campaign is built as a giant loop. Inside the Venator (not shown on the map) is a small walkway connecting to the two entrances. This lets guests explore without ever having to face a dead end.
But the loop also gives us only one entrance in or out of the land. This ensures anyone in this land- which will be immensely popular upon opening- is coming for this land and this land only. And the theming can remain consistent.
An expansion plot is labeled on the map. This could become a Separatist Outpost later on, depending on feedback.
All waiters/waitresses in the land are decked out in Republic Naval Officer uniforms, like the picture shown below.
Now onto the land's various attractions, dining, and shops!
THE COMMAND POST
Imagine the command post- but bigger and without the gunship + desert backdrop.
At the center of the pavilion is the Command Post, a counter service restaurant. Step up onto post for a view around the entire forested outpost. Food is fairly generic as you would expect from the military- this is a warzone, shiny!
Left of the command post is the wreckage of various Republic vehicles- gunships, walkers, or juggernauts. The sit here idle occasionally emitting smoke. This creates a second, more shaded eating area. It also gives the right side more space for the queue and gift shop of the boat ride.

That's it for today! I’ll update this thread in the coming future with posts on the flat ride, boat ride, Venator e-ticket, and the caves! Thanks for reading
