Star Wars Land at various WDW parks

It looks like we will have to wait till D23 to find out what Disney has in store for us regrading the rumored Star Wars land. It looks like a lot of the SW land will be at DHS where Star Tours 2.0 is located. Any ideas of what might be coming our way in the future? Also, could it be found other parks (example - Ewok Village or Endor forest ride). LucasFilm also has Skywalker Sound and Industrial Light & Magic that could be used in DHS too. Those two divisions worked with several Disney movies. There is so much they can do this property. I'm glad the Disney executives went to Harry Potter Land at Universal and chose to rethink how they would build the land the right way instead of throwing something together.

It's been debated a lot.

I think there would probably be a new restaurant, a few new attractions, and some new theming. Hard to say at this point exactly what the plans would be

Expect to wait until D23...2016.
Earlier this month Bob Iger went on the record as saying that because the new Star Wars experiences will only be based on the new Abrams-Wars movies, even Imagineering won't have a clue until after the movie is released in December this year.

He also dropped that Star Wars Land won't be coming stateside for a while. If you want to experience Star Wars as a fully functional themed area in a Disney park, better get your passport ready and a ticket to Shanghai when it opens next year.

I don't get why it has to only be based off of the new movies coming out. I mean doing stuff based off the stuff that's been with us for almost 40 years now isn't going to be totally shunned and jeered at. I guarantee you they would get more out of it if they did it that way, but I do understand the marketing ploy they are doing with this since Ep. VII is set for this year, first stand alone film for next year and supposedly Ep. VIII for either 2017 or 2018.

This is not correct. Iger said that Imagineering is already working designs for new Star Wars attractions and that announcements would come later in 2015. There is no reason to believe that Imagineering wouldn't have access to what is going on with Star Wars 7 prior to it's release. I also can't find anywhere that he said it will be coming overseas any earlier then the US. Your second statement also contradicts the first, if Imaginneering won't have access to the new movie until December they surely won't have a new SW attraction ready for the opening Shanghai in 2016.

Now, I am not saying that it won't eventually pan out this way, but the current company line is that new SW attractions are in the works and will be announced this year.
