Star Wars Galaxies

Hi everyone!
I was just wondering if anyone on the boards plays the online game Star wars Galaxies? I have been playing for 2 weeks now and I`m hooked! LOL! I love it!

Sorry to disappoint you, Doll Boy, but City of Heroes is the way to go. It launches on April 28th and it's THE best MMORPG ever! I already got my pre-order under way hoping I can get in on beta. And even if I can't, at least I'll be able to get in three days before everybody else.

oh darrel, I am sadly almost a widow because of that game. My future husband picked it up a few months ago, and he has since played it about 20-25 hours at home each week. plus in the office. he has all of his co-workers hooked on it. they play in the office together. *sigh* between galaxies and halo, I never see him.

Yes, galaxies is a very cool game. I haven't played it, but my friend is highly addicted to it. As for me I am a Halo master hunter. That is the best shooter game in the world. Can't wait for Halo 2 to come out. Go play Halo!!!!

I used to play Perfect Dark and Conkers until my N64 was stolen. Now I'm a Timesplitters 2 addict.

PD is a very good game. And I used to be a TS2 addict. But Halo is was better, in fact TS2 somewhat stinks. Sorry, but buy a Xbox.

LOL! What is his characters name, I can say hello to him! I probably play Star wars Galaxies about 35 hours a week, that includes the weekends.:wave:

PS2 is a whole lot better. And soon to be Ps3

OHwell! I might start a character on that server some time, but right now my characters name is Osiloa Ivope on the Bria server and my base planet is Tatooine!

Well if were really going to have a video game argument...

Everyone must admit that the PC is superior due to its incredbily large library. Plus, if you have a fast PC, the graphics can run circles around the main systems.

That said X-box is the best of the consoles...

1.) The most powerful hardware which leads to the best graphics
2.) A HARDRIVE...don't half to buy stupid memory cards for 30 bucks a pop.
3.) Sole rights to companies such as Bungie and support from Peter Molyneux and the crew.
4.) The best organized and most successful online gaming service for consoles.
5.) Like the Ps2, it doubles as a DVD player.

While gamecube has access to great games such as Zelda and Mario franchises, it frankly can't really play with the big boys.
